Apolo
Anton Ohno burst onto the short track speedskating
scene during the 2002 Winter Olympics where he took
home a gold and silver medal. He was also a finalist for the
2002 AAU Sullivan Award.
Ohno's
dominant 2003 campaign will bring him to the
New York Athletic
Club as one of the 2003 AAU Sullivan Award finalists.

was the 2003 World Cup Overall Champion, earning
196 points out of a possible 200
- Had
a hand in 20 of the 21 short track medals won by
the U.S. during the season
- Won
18 individual medals (10 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze)
and 2 relay medals
(1 silver and 1 bronze)
- Also
won his fifth US National Championship in March in
Bay City, MI.

The presentation of the 74th AAU Sullivan Award will take place at the New York Athletic Club, New York City, the evening of the 13th of April, 2004. The event will begin at approximately 6:30pm and adjourn around 9:30. Tickets for the event are available by contacting Jeanann Ruppel at jeanann@aausports.org
