SULLIVAN UPDATE Wednesday, March 30, 2004

It just seems to get better. 13 days and counting until the AAU Sullivan Award show and Peter Marco, better known as "Marco" by his fellow artisans, has just agreed to join the AAU family as the official artist for this award ceremony. Known for his pop art designs, Marco, was the official artist for the most recent Winter Olympics and is again signed on for the Games in Athens this summer. His work has appeared in such reputable places as The New York Times Sunday Magazine and on the hit TV show American Idol. Marco will be presenting the five finalists with personalized portraits of each athlete during the awards show April 13th, 2004. Apolo Anton Ohno (one of the five finalists) It is sure to be a memory-filled night - media from Cleveland, St. Louis, Chicago, and more are slated to cover the ceremony. Seats are selling out fast! The presentation of the 74th AAU Sullivan Award will take place at the New York Athletic Club, New York City, the evening of the 13th of April, 2004.
