The 74th Annual AAU Sullivan Awards Presentation is just 11 days away and we are exceptionally excited to announce the addition of Jay Crawford and Thea Andrews of the ESPN morning show Cold Pizza as Masters of Ceremonies.

Previously, Jay was Sports anchor and director at WFTS Channel 28 in Tampa, Fla. and covered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers through their Super Bowl XXXVII victory in San Diego. He won four regional Emmys in four years while at WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio.

Thea joined ESPN from her role as co-host of "E-Talk Daily" on CTV. Her TV credits include hosting "Cooking for Love" on the W Network, TSN's "Guys TV with Thea Andrews", and shows on the Discovery Network and Animal Planet. She has appeared in several movies and television series, including her role as reporter Samantha Lovett on ESPN's first-ever drama series PLAYMAKERS. Her theater credits include "The Vagina Monologues".

During the cocktail hour, Mr. Walter Schick, Juilliard School of Music pianist, will provide entertainment that includes Broadway’s most popular tunes.

It is sure to be the most exciting AAU Sullivan presentation to date!


The presentation of the 74th AAU Sullivan Award will take place at the New York Athletic Club, New York City, the evening of the 13th of April, 2004. The event will begin at approximately 6:30pm and adjourn around 9:30. Tickets for the event are available by contacting Jeanann Ruppel at jeanann@aausports.org
